Intecho was the chosen technology provider for the prestigious new London Syon Park Hotel, the first new build Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Europe. The stunning five star luxury hotel is set within 200 acres of parkland and is destined to be the leisure and business hotel of choice for the world’s most discerning clientele.

Intecho was contracted to design and install a comprehensive lighting control system using KNX and DALI, across each of the hotel’s five restaurants, the extensive front of house and external terraces. In particular, the impressive Grand Ballroom and the Empire and Astor meeting rooms were required to have high standard, easy to use control technology capable of being tailored to meet the broad range of demands made by blue chip companies using the facilities.
The system designed by Intecho delivers the relaxed and sophisticated ambience expected from an esteemed Waldorf Astoria Hotel. Features include mood lighting sequences to ensure optimum client comfort. The controls are concealed within intuitive touch screens, discreetly integrated into the luxurious interiors and easily interpreted by the hotel’s legion of staff.

Intelligence by Evolution

Chameleon (Cha-me-le-on): Many types of chameleon are able to change the colour of their skin as an expression of their physiological condition, as a social indicator to other chameleons and as a camouflage device. Colour change is brought about by stimuli such as light, temperature, and emotion.
